    Job Title: Maintenance Technician

    Job Description

    Join a dynamic and innovative team as a Maintenance Technician, where you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of production equipment. You will play a crucial role in troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems within the plant.

    Responsibilities

    + Work collaboratively with the team and independently to complete planned and unplanned maintenance tasks.

    + Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems throughout the plant.

    + Document maintenance activities using the Emaint CMMS system.

    + Maintain production equipment in safe and optimal operating condition, including performing both mechanical and electrical repairs.

    + Troubleshoot equipment and process issues as required.

    + Perform machine installations and modifications as needed.

    + Conduct preventative maintenance on all production and support equipment.

    + Install electrical equipment and repair or replace wiring and fixtures.

    + Read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics for troubleshooting purposes.

    + Investigate malfunctions of electrical components such as starters, relays, switches, and photo-electrics.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum 2 years experience in an industrial maintenance environment.

    + Experience with PLCs and motor drive controls.

    + Ability to perform both electrical and mechanical repairs effectively.

    + Proficiency in electrical troubleshooting, including working with 3-phase systems.

    + Experience with pneumatics and conveyor systems.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience with Allen Bradley PLCs.

    + Knowledge of preventive maintenance practices.

    Work Environment

     

    Work in a non-climate controlled environment, dealing with temperatures consistent with outdoor conditions and hot machinery. The role requires standing and walking on concrete surfaces for the entire shift.

    This is a Permanent position based out of Terrell, Texas.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $49000.00 - $69700.00/yr.
