• Senior Network Engineer - TS/SCI w/Poly

Amentum is seeking a **Senior Network Engineer** to join our team of passionate individuals in **Annapolis Junction, MD** . In this role you will support challenging, mission-critical projects that make a direct impact on the Nation’s security and intelligence mission.

     

    As the lead of technical efforts across organizations, you will manage the overall operational health of a customer network.

    Responsibilities:

    + Using Network Engineering, System Administrator, and command line Linux skills to maintain a full and robust multi-server network

    + Support the design and infrastructure of the network with a future overhaul planned

    + Thorough knowledge of Secure the Enterprise (STE)/Secure the Network (STN), Risk Management Framework (RMF) to ensure system compliance

    + Create and maintain accounts, troubleshooting at all levels

    Requirements:

    + Relevant experience must be in computer or information systems design/development, programming, information/cyber/network security, vulnerability analysis, penetration testing, computer forensics, information assurance and/or systems engineering. Additionally, must have experience in network or system administration.

    + Current experience with management of virtualized infrastructure, to include multi-node and multi-site networks

    + Recent experience with Linux and Windows operating systems (command line a must)

    Clearance Required:

    + TS/SCI with Poly

    Minimum Education:

    + Bachelor's degree plus 8-years of relevant experience, or Master's degree plus 6-years of relevant experience or an Associate's degree plus 10-years of relevant experience or high school diploma/GED plus 12-years of relevant experience may be considered.

    + Degree must be in Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.

    Preferred:

    + Recent experience with containerization, Docker and/or Kubernetes

    + Experience with CNO

    + Development experience helpful

    The base salary range for this position is **$175K to $190K** . This range reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
