Job Description
The Iowa Department of Health and Human Services (HHS), Division of State-Operated Specialty Care, Bureau of Woodward Resource Center (WRC) is seeking a dedicated Behavioral Health Assistant to join our team!

As part of the WRC team, you'll:
+ Ensure the rights of individuals are respected and upheld.
+ Utilize appropriate management and training techniques to address individual needs.
+ Provide continuous active treatment programs to promote independence.
+ Maintain a safe, secure, and healthy environment.
+ Complete administrative procedures to enhance the WRC mission.
+ Assist in developing and implementing treatment programs and train staff using Competency-Based Training methods.
+ Conduct, summarize, and interpret program data for Treatment Program Manager, psychologists, and other Interdisciplinary Team Members.
+ Interact with individuals with sensitivity, dignity, and respect.

Minimum Qualification Requirements
Graduation from an accredited four-year college or university with a degree in psychology, mental health counseling, applied behavior analysis, substance use, clinical social work, behavioral sciences, mental health, or a closely-related field.

+ Licensed Clinical Alcohol & Drug Abuse Counselor (LCADAC)
+ Registered Behavior Technician (RBT)
+ Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA)
