    DCI is currently searching for a **Pharmacy Technician** to join our Pharmacy Team.

     

    **Day Shift:** Monday- Friday 8:00 am to 4:30 pm - Closed Door Pharmacy

    **Anticipated hourly pay range:** negotiable; starting at $16 per hour

    Responsibilities

    + Assists the Pharmacist in filling prescription orders, as permitted by the State Boards of Pharmacy.

    + Prepares medications for dispensing, packaging and shipment.

    + Takes inventory, place orders, checks in drugs and supplies, stocks shelves and removes out-of-date items from the inventory.

    + Enters medical supply orders in pharmacy system

    + Communicates with all customers (patients, clinics, caregivers, physicians) in a pleasant and professional manner.

    + Processes returned medications from the clinics for credit or destruction.

    + Inputs patient data and prescription information into pharmacy information management system.

    Qualifications

    + High school diploma or equivalent.

    + Tennessee Licensed/registered pharmacy technician as required by law

    + At least one year as Pharmacy Technician working in a retail, mail order, specialty, or hospital pharmacy environment

    + Strong Customer service skills
