    MHS is seeking a part-time Dance Instructor to join the Elementary School team for the after school dance program. This is an ancillary role and there is anticipation of 200 hours for the 2025/26 school year. Monday – Friday, with occasional weekends.

    Qualifications

    + High School or GED required. Bachelor’s degree in dance, Education, or related Performing Art, preferred.

    + Experience teaching tap, ballet, and swing a plus.

    + Minimum of 2 years instructional experience with school age students (elementary through high school).

    + Skilled in monitoring, mentoring, and developing youth.

    + Strong organizational skills including skills in planning and multi-tasking.

    + Available to work weekends.

    + Spanish Fluency a plus.

    + Candidates must demonstrate a high degree of integrity, as all MHS staff are role models for MHS students.

    + Candidates must be willing to actively engage with students beyond the scope of their job responsibilities.
