    This position is located in San Jose, CA. This is an onsite position.

     

    The base salary for a qualified candidate will range from $166,862-$225,828.

     

    Bonus potential will be profit interest starting at dollar 1, with no limit on earnings.

     

    Allowances for car and cell phone also included.

    General position summary:

    Responsible for strategy, P&L, and execution within a specific market to drive operational excellence and employee performance. Position has full sales responsibly for the market while coordinating with centralized sales teams to source and follow-up with clients. This role focuses on fostering collaboration between sales and operations, aiming for constant, incremental improvement in margin performance over time, maintaining high levels of customer service, and successfully growing the operation.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

    + Spearhead the development, implementation, and dissemination of effective growth strategies and processes within the region.

    + Collaborate with the leadership team to develop and implement plans for the operational infrastructure of systems, processes, and personnel designed to accommodate the growth objectives of the organization

    + Manage the Sales Team on the strategic objectives and deliverables for the business

    + Provide day-to-day leadership and management, creating a service focused organization that represents the mission statement and core values of the company

    + Foster a success-oriented, accountable environment within the company

    + Coordinate activities of the market such as operations, finance, customer service, planning, and sales to affect operational efficiency and economy

    + Own entire P&L for the market

    + Interface with customers to ensure customer needs are met and customers are retained

    + Analyze division or department budget requests to identify areas in which reductions can be made, and allocate operating budget

    + Confer with administrative personnel and review activity, operating, and sales reports to determine changes in programs or operations required

    + Direct preparation of directives for the division or department administrator outlining policy, program, or operations changes to be implemented

    + Promote the organization in industry associations

    This position has managerial oversight of their designated market.

    Education & Experience:

    + Bachelor's degree (B. A.) from four-year college or university; or five to seven years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    + Experience as a General Manager in a mid-to-large market is required.

    + Experience leading sales teams required

    + Strong understanding of operational infrastructure, systems, and processes.

    + Excellent leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.

    + Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.

    + Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement.

    + Proficiency in financial management and budgeting.

    + In-depth knowledge of industry regulations and standards.

    + Ability to travel as needed to meet with clients, attend industry events, and oversee both sales and operations.

    Language Skills:

    + Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.

    + Ability to write routine reports.

    + Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    Mathematical Skills:

    + Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.

    + Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.

    Reasoning Ability:

    + Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.

    + Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

    Computer Operations:

    + To perform this job successfully, an individual should have strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, and the ability to learn and effectively use software applications such as move management, accounting/billing, HRIS (Human Resources Information System), timekeeping and other applications used in the performance of job duties.

    Planning/Organization:

    + Ability to prioritize and re-prioritize as situations and needs change throughout the workday

    + Ability to multi-task and organize workflow to manage daily responsibilities, meet deadlines and prioritize work
