_Hybrid work schedule available, up to 50% telework depending on business needs. Telework can be outside of the state of Minnesota if the candidate lives in a state bordering Minnesota and lives 50 miles or less from the primary work location. This employee will primarily investigate routine complaints against insurance companies and less complex complaints against agents, adjusters, and agencies. The role involves obtaining and reviewing documentation, interviewing subjects and witnesses and delivering difficult messages, writing accurate and thorough reports and recommendations, negotiating settlements, and testifying at administrative hearings.
Minimum Qualifications
Two (2) years professional experience working as a property and casualty claims adjuster or SIU or a licensed insurance producer selling property and casualty insurance.
Applicants who meet the above education/experience requirements will be further evaluated based on the following:
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word and Excel)
Preferred Qualifications
+ Advanced degree in related field (Masters or JD)
+ Experience conducting investigations (civil or criminal)
+ Insurance or related designation (CPCU, AIRC, MCM, CFE, APIR, PIR)
Physical Requirements
Requires occasional moving of articles such as boxes, accounting records, laptop computer, and portable printer.
