    Overview

     

    The Enterprise Backbone Program (EBB) is a multi-year, multi-phase effort focused on REI’s foundational systems and processes. After installing SAP S4 in April 2024, the EBB program is delivering new capabilities on top of the foundation to support REI’s current and future needs.

     

    The Business Process Analyst on the Enterprise Backbone Program (EBB) is a technical lead, providing system support, report development, and new technical solutions that streamline and enhance the work of the team. You will help deliver ground-breaking EBB business capabilities and our Next Generation solutions that enhance and support the quality of our Purchase Order and Vendor Management at REI. You play a role as an advocate for the business, a voice of the program and a liaison with our vendors.

     

    You will act as a business process subject matter expert in the procure to pay area. Utilizing your strong communication skills, you contribute to REI’s success by working cross-divisionally advising on the Enterprise Backbones requirements, while coordinating carefully with cross-divisional partners. This role will support change management activities across the co-op and with vendors and acts in accordance with REI’s guiding values, competencies, and mission.

     

    Responsibilities and Qualifications

    Responsibilities

    + Partners with technology teams on key projects to support leading innovation workstreams to enable all EBB strategies and initiatives.

    + Analyze, interpret, and improve department specific business processes to ensure the optimal integrity and functionality of systems and technology to support team initiatives, capabilities, and projects.

    + Leads and participates in business process design workshops, advocating for business users, understanding, and enabling industry leading best practices across multiple disciplines.

    + Participate in all project status meetings as business lead; daily stand-ups, sprint retrospectives and sprint demonstrations for Agile projects and all other project meetings as required.

    + Participate in business or subject matter expert workshops and interviews for requirements gathering sessions.

    + Supports medium to large sized projects in collaboration with cross-divisional partners meeting project deadlines, milestones, release dates, and schedules.

    + Other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    + 2+ years of recent experience in Data Management, Vendor Management, Procure to Pay processes, or similar for retail or finance business units.

    + Certification in business process improvement practices successfully applied in a retail environment; LEAN, Six Sigma (Preferred)

    + Advanced experience with Microsoft (MS) Excel

    + 1+ years of experience with SAP transaction codes, query tools, and tables (preferred)

    + Advanced computer skills, to include MS Visio, Word, and PowerPoint, Jira, MS Project

    + Ability to work with others to build and execute on conceptual and process frameworks

    + Exceptional critical, business process, communication, and business acumen skills

    Pay Range

     

    $64,600.00 - $103,500.00 per year
