HOW YOU MAKE AN IMPACT
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Accounts Receivable (AR) Collections Analyst to manage and improve our collections process. The ideal candidate will be responsible for following up on outstanding invoices, resolving billing issues, maintaining customer relationships, and ensuring timely receipt of payments to support the company’s cash flow objectives.
WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE
• Monitor customer accounts to identify and resolve outstanding debts.
• Contact customers via phone, email, and written communication to follow up on overdue invoices.
• Record collection activities and maintain accurate records of customer interactions.
• Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies and customer disputes.
• Collaborate with sales, billing, and customer service teams to resolve issues.
• Prepare and analyze aging reports and AR metrics.
• Recommend accounts for escalation, legal action, or write-offs when necessary.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and company policies.
• Assist in month-end and year-end close processes related to AR.

WHAT YOU NEED TO BE SUCCESSFUL
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred).
• 4+ years of experience in accounts receivable or collections.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and AR processes.
• Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel); experience with [specify ERP system, e.g., Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, QuickBooks] is a plus.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Experience in [industry-specific detail, e.g., manufacturing, SaaS, healthcare].
• Knowledge of credit risk management or collections software tools.
• Bilingual or multilingual skills are a plus.

The salary range included in this job posting is relevant to applicants who reside or work in the Livermore, CA area only. Salary offers will depend on experience, knowledge, skills, education, and location. Actual salary may vary due to these and other factors.
