Our client, a leading technology solutions provider, is seeking a Middleware Engineer to join their team. As a Middleware Engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting various teams in delivering high-quality middleware solutions. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and a collaborative mindset which will align successfully in the organization.

**Job Title:** Middleware Engineer

**Hub Locations:** NYC, Boston, Chicago, Jersey City, Pennington, Addison, Plano, Dallas, Houston, Denver, Atlanta, Richmond, Kennesaw, CLT, Newark, Jacksonville, Chandler (Hybrid - 3 days in office/week)

**Pay Range:** $77/hr

What's the Job?

+ Develop and maintain middleware solutions using Apache Tomcat, WebSphere, and other related technologies.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration of middleware services.

+ Provide hands-on support and troubleshooting for middleware applications in a large enterprise environment.

+ Participate in on-call rotations to support production systems and resolve issues as they arise.

+ Document processes and create technical specifications to enhance team knowledge and efficiency.

What's Needed?

+ 5+ years of experience in Java/J2EE Middleware Engineering.

+ Proficiency with middleware products such as Apache Tomcat and WebSphere Application Server.

+ Experience with Linux operating systems and container frameworks.

+ Familiarity with scripting languages like shell, Python, or Perl.

+ Understanding of network infrastructure including HTTP/S, TCP/IP, and load balancers.
