We are seeking a **Senior Cloud Engineer** to join our Lafayette, LA team! Come join us!
Job responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• **Lead and execute migration projects** from on-premises or hosted environments to Azure cloud infrastructure.
• Administer and optimize Azure services including **Virtual Machines, Azure Storage, Azure Networking, Azure Active Directory, and Azure Monitor.**
• Design and implement **secure, scalable, and resilient cloud architectures** aligned with business needs.
• Configure and manage hybrid connectivity (SDWAN, VPN, ExpressRoute) during transitional phases.
• Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability of cloud services.
• Implement and enforce cloud governance, security policies, and compliance standards.
• Collaborate with DevOps, security, and application teams to ensure seamless cloud adoption and integration.
• Maintain documentation of cloud configurations, migration plans, and operational procedures.
Minimum requirements:
• 3+ years of experience in Azure cloud administration and engineering.
• Proven track record of migrating enterprise workloads from on-premises or hosted environments to Azure.
• Strong understanding of **Azure IaaS and PaaS** services, networking, and identity management.
• Familiarity with **cloud security best practices** and compliance frameworks (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).
Technical requirements:
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Python.
• The Azure Fundamentals certification (AZ-900) is required.
• Azure certifications such as **AZ-104 (Azure Administrator)** or **AZ-305 (Azure Solutions Architect)** are preferred.
• Proficiency in designing and maintaining SDWAN infrastructure.
• CCNP or equivalent certification and/or experience is preferred.
Other miscellaneous qualities:
• 25% travel across service area (US).
• Provide technical and procedural leadership for projects.
