Description We are looking for a skilled Accounting Specialist with expertise in Yardi software to join our team in Dallas, Texas. In this Contract-to-Permanent position, you will play a key role in managing essential accounting functions, supporting property management operations, and ensuring financial accuracy. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a dynamic organization in the Real Estate & Property industry.

Responsibilities:

• Process and code property-related invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company standards.

• Prepare tenant bill-back drafts for managerial approval, distribute invoices to tenants, and oversee payment collection.

• Review rental increases, draft necessary tenant notices, and communicate updates effectively.

• Collaborate with property managers to review aged receivables reports and ensure timely tenant collections.

• Draft security deposit refund forms as requested by property managers.

• Assist in preparing annual operating expense estimates and reconciliations.

• Participate in the budget process by collecting, organizing, and entering relevant data.

• Monitor and maintain certificates of insurance to verify compliance with insurance requirements.

• Manage utility accounts, including transfers for vacant units, new tenants, acquisitions, and dispositions. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

• Proficiency in Yardi software and familiarity with property management systems.

• Strong knowledge of commercial property management and accounting functions.

• Ability to reconcile accounts and manage billing functions with precision.

• Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Effective communication skills to liaise with tenants and property managers.

• Familiarity with aging accounts and invoice processing.

• Capacity to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
