Description We are looking for a dedicated Customer Service Representative to join our team in Binghamton, New York. In this long-term contract role, you will play a pivotal part in delivering exceptional service to clients, contractors, and homeowners within the real estate and property industry. This position involves handling inquiries, managing orders, resolving complaints, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:

• Respond promptly and courteously to customer inquiries, providing accurate information and solutions.

• Guide customers on product features, availability, and delivery options to enhance satisfaction and sales.

• Process orders, quotations, and service requests using designated software systems.

• Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot issues and share knowledge to resolve customer concerns.

• Recommend alternative products based on customer needs, specifications, and cost considerations.

• Monitor shipment schedules and expedite deliveries to meet customer expectations.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures while maintaining a focused and organized work environment.

• Assist with month-end order cleanup to ensure accurate billing and record-keeping.

• Participate in training programs to enhance skills and cross-train colleagues on various tasks.

• Uphold a culture of respect, service excellence, and adherence to workplace safety standards. Requirements • Proven experience in customer service, preferably within the real estate or property industry.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to manage customer interactions effectively.

• Proficiency in using customer service software and order management systems.

• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues effectively using conflict resolution techniques.

• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently.

• Knowledge of product terminology and features to provide accurate information and recommendations.

• Capacity to work collaboratively within a team environment and assist colleagues as needed.
