Description
Are you an experienced accounting professional with a knack for leadership and process improvement? Robert Half is looking for a highly skilled Accounts Receivable Supervisor to manage and oversee one of our client’s accounts receivable processes. In this role, you will ensure accurate and timely collections, support compliance, and lead a team dedicated to maintaining the financial health of the organization.
Key Responsibilities
+ Oversee all accounts receivable functions, including invoicing, payment posting, collections, and reconciliations.
+ Supervise and mentor the accounts receivable staff, ensuring team members meet performance and accuracy goals.
+ Monitor accounts receivable aging reports and develop strategies to minimize overdue accounts and improve cash flow.
+ Resolve complex billing issues and maintain strong relationships with both customers and internal departments.
+ Implement and maintain systems, processes, and controls to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.
+ Generate and analyze AR metrics and reports for management, providing strategic insights for decision-making.
+ Collaborate with finance and operations teams on month-end closing, cash forecasting, and audit preparation.
Requirements
+ Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
+ 5+ years of experience in accounts receivable or collections, with 2+ years in a supervisory role.
+ Proficiency with accounting ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
+ Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment.
