Description
We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team in Las Vegas, Nevada. In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining accurate financial records, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in general ledger accounting, financial statement preparation, and audit support while demonstrating a strong ability to analyze complex financial data.
Responsibilities:
• Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP standards.
• Manage general ledger activities, including journal entries, cost accounting, account reconciliations, and month-end close processes.
• Provide support for internal and external audits by organizing documentation and delivering detailed analysis.
• Conduct in-depth analysis of financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Ensure adherence to internal controls and corporate accounting policies.
• Collaborate with finance, operations, and external auditors to guarantee accurate and timely reporting.
• Participate in system enhancements and automation initiatives to increase operational efficiency and accuracy.

Requirements
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting roles, including public accounting or large company environments.
• Proficiency in month-end close processes, general ledger management, and journal entries.
• Strong skills in account and bank reconciliations.
• Familiarity with SOX compliance and GAAP accounting principles.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation with public accounting experience.
• Demonstrated experience in financial analysis and reporting.
• Ability to work collaboratively across departments and with external auditors.
