    Description

    Robert Half is hiring for a reputable healthcare services provider in Vista seeking a dedicated Collections Specialist to join their revenue cycle team. This organization provides essential care to the community and values professionalism, empathy, and accuracy in its financial operations. This role is ideal for someone who is persistent, organized, and comfortable navigating sensitive financial conversations with patients and insurers.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + Contact patients and insurance companies regarding outstanding balances

    + Negotiate payment plans and resolve billing discrepancies

    + Update account records and maintain detailed collection notes

    + Collaborate with billing and customer service teams

    + Monitor aging reports and escalate accounts as needed

    + Ensure compliance with HIPAA and healthcare billing regulations

    Requirements

    + 2+ years of collections or AR experience, preferably in healthcare

    + Familiarity with medical billing systems and insurance processes

    + Strong communication and negotiation skills

    + Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

    + Proficiency in Excel and CRM or billing software
