    Robert Half is on the lookout for an AWS Cloud Engineer - DIRECT HIRE ONLY - NO C2C - MUST BE AUTHORIZED TO WORK IN THE US WITHOUT SPONSORSHIP.

     

    This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a collaborative environment, communicates effectively across teams, and is driven by curiosity and continuous improvement. Candidate will have a strong DevOps mindset to help shape and scale our cloud infrastructure. In this role, you’ll work closely with software developers, TechOps, and security teams to deliver secure, reliable, and automated cloud solutions that power our digital platforms.

    This is your opportunity to drive innovation through infrastructure-as-code, streamline CI/CD workflows, and enhance observability across our systems.

     

    + Architect, deploy, and manage cloud infrastructure primarily in AWS

    + Optimize for high availability, scalability, and cost-efficiency

    + Configure and manage VPCs, IAM roles, networking, security groups, and load balancers

    + Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like GitHub Actions

    + Develop infrastructure using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation

    + Automate provisioning, deployment, and configuration tasks

    + Implement and manage monitoring, logging, alerting, and patching systems

    + Proactively monitor for performance, availability, and security issues

    + Partner with developers to create a seamless, developer-friendly cloud platform

    + Support incident response, root cause analysis, and performance tuning

    + Participate in on-call rotations to ensure service reliability

    Requirements

    + 3+ years of experience in AWS cloud engineering or DevOps

    + Hands-on experience with CI/CD and infrastructure-as-code

    + Familiarity with Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes, ECS, or EKS

    + Proficiency in scripting languages like Python

    + Solid understanding of networking, DNS, firewalls, load balancers, and VPNs
