Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our team in Boston, Massachusetts. This role involves managing financial processes, ensuring accuracy in accounting operations, and supporting month-end close activities. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in general ledger management and reconciliation tasks.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee month-end close procedures to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.

• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts to support the integrity of financial statements.

• Prepare and post journal entries, ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

• Conduct account reconciliations to identify and resolve discrepancies.

• Perform bank reconciliations to verify the accuracy of financial transactions.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide accounting support and insights.

• Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant regulations in all accounting practices.

• Assist in audits by providing necessary documentation and resolving inquiries.

• Analyze financial data to identify trends and support decision-making processes.

• Develop and implement improvements to accounting workflows for enhanced efficiency. Requirements • Proven experience in accounting, with a focus on month-end close and reconciliation tasks.

• Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and journal entry preparation.

• Proficiency in performing account and bank reconciliations.

• Familiarity with accounting software and tools to streamline processes.

• Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.

• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.

• Strong understanding of accounting principles and standards.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field required.
