Job Title: Materials Management/Central Supply
Department: Materials Management
Hours Per Week: 37.5 hours weekly
Schedule: 7.5 hour shifts, variable days/shifts, every other weekend (Hours are 7 am – 3 pm and 8 am to 4 pm)
SUMMARY:
Under general supervision of the Inventory Coordinator the Central Supply Aide is responsible for all phases of supplies that enter the Central Supply area and are distributed to the floors. Work includes assisting in the complete organization, documentation and deliver of supplies to units/offices throughout the hospital.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Patient Charges: Manage the stock charges to reflect the appropriate item has been charged to the correct patient in the Meditech System. Track patient charges if product has been identified as being used and charge the appropriate patient. Manage Inventory Storage Areas: Accurately count and re-stock storage areas throughout the hospital. Communicate with staff and identify item usage trends and make appropriate changes. General Duties : Manage and deliver Central Supply items requested by the floors. Organize, clean and maintain the Central Supply Area. This includes IV Pumps used on the floor and returning instruments to Sterile Processing for cleaning. All areas should be checked several times per day to clean IV Pumps and assist with additional supplies.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
M - Medium Work - Exerting 20 to 50 pounds of force occasionally, and/or 10 to 25 pounds of force frequently, and/or greater than negligible up to 10 pounds of force constantly to move objects; Requires frequent walking, standing or squatting.

PAY RANGE:
$17.74 - $25.22
The listed base pay range is a good faith representation of current potential base pay for a successful full time applicant. It may be modified in the future and eligible for additional pay components. Pay is determined by factors including experience, relevant qualifications, specialty, internal equity, location, and contracts.
