Job Description
Join our team as a Group Assistant, where you will play a key role in supporting administrative and operational functions while contributing to global sustainability efforts. Based in Washington D.C., this role requires you to be onsite four days a week, assisting a team dedicated to promoting environmental protection and sustainability.
Responsibilities
+ Provide comprehensive team management support.
+ Manage space planning and ensure effective utilization.
+ Coordinate and oversee event logistics and planning.
+ Facilitate cross-functional collaboration and maintain effective communication.
+ Manage team calendar and meeting logistics efficiently.
+ Serve as backup administrative support to the Chief Sustainability Officer during visits to Washington D.C.
+ Oversee travel management for team members.
+ Assist with new hire onboarding processes.
+ Implement and enforce team policies and procedures.
+ Manage miscellaneous project assignments and ownership.
Essential Skills
+ Minimum 2 years of administrative, business support, or customer service experience focusing on scheduling meetings and events, travel management, and basic administrative tasks.
+ Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
+ Experience supporting leadership with travel, expenses, and logistics for at least 2 years.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ 3 years of administrative experience in a fast-paced environment is highly preferred.
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills.
+ Energetic and enthusiastic attitude.
+ Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
+ Excellent collaboration and organizational skills.
+ Ability to work flexibly and efficiently under pressure.
+ Capacity to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
+ Proficiency in using internal tools like Employee Central and MyOrder is an advantage.
Work Environment
This role is hybrid, requiring four days a week onsite at the Washington D.C. office and one day remote. The position involves a 40-hour work week, with occasional overtime estimated at approximately 2 hours per week. The work environment is collaborative, supporting a team focused on sustainability initiatives, with a commitment to meaningful work that benefits future generations.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $31.00/hr.
