    Overview

     

    This position is responsible for supporting all warehouse functions including but limited to receiving, storing, handling, shipping, and preparing products for delivery while maintaining the warehouse in a safe and orderly fashion.

    Responsibilities

    A Warehouse Worker is responsible for varied daily tasks such as restocking shelves, accepting incoming orders, processing and packing orders, counting inventory and ensuring orders are shipped in a timely manner.

    + Dependable with excellent time management and documentation skills

    + Ability to work in team environment with a great work ethic

    + Ability to coordinate, organize and plan

    + Receive equipment and materials that are delivered to the company by vendors, customers, and other external warehouses.

    + Inspect incoming shipment for damage.

    + After inspection and receipt of equipment, equipment to be put in its proper location in the warehouse.

    + Properly and safely pick, pull, and load products for shipment.

    + Drive vehicles (i.e., trucks, forklifts, and vans) for the purpose of transporting orders to designated sites.

    + Utilize the appropriate safety equipment, maintain warehouse safety certifications, and attend safety training as required.

    + Ensure the building grounds and warehouse are maintained in a clean, safe, and orderly manner.

    + Examine incoming shipments for accuracy and evaluate damaged items.

    + Taking photos of stored inventory and inventory as it is received.

     

    Ideal Candidate Will Possess the Following Skills and Abilities

     

    + High school diploma or equivalent.

    + Candidate must have a minimum of 6 months box truck experience.

    + Candidate must be able to pass road test.

    + Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

    + Must be able to lift up to at least 100 lbs.

    + Ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities.

    + Ability to work in hot and cold temperatures

    + Pushing, pulling, stooping, lifting, and overhead reaching
