    Project Manager – Environmental / Geoscience

     

    Pay Rate: $35.10 – $38.46/hour

     

    Worksite: On-site with 60% office / 40% fieldwork

    About the Role

    Are you ready to take the lead on impactful environmental projects across Southern California? We’re seeking a hands-on Project Manager with a strong background in geologic fieldwork, environmental assessments, and remediation. This role blends field and office responsibilities, offering the chance to work directly with Professional Geologists (PGs) and contribute to high-profile projects involving gas station site remediation, vapor intrusion, and groundwater monitoring.

    What You’ll Do

    + Manage logistics, schedules, and field operations for environmental projects

    + Conduct site investigations, soil vapor and groundwater sampling, and oversee drilling and well installation

    + Coordinate permitting and compliance with regulatory agencies

    + Compile and analyze field data, write technical reports, and prepare Phase II assessments

    + Make field decisions and understand the impact of missing data, especially for vapor intrusion

    + Use templates to develop work plans and site assessment reports

    + Liaise with client managers and subcontractors to ensure smooth execution

    + Blend your own schedule to meet project deadlines with flexibility in start/end times

    What You Bring

    + 1.5–2+ years of geologic fieldwork experience

    + Bachelor’s degree in Geology, Environmental Science, Biology, or related field

    + Strong technical writing and report preparation skills

    + Valid U.S. driver’s license and clean driving record

    + 40-hour HAZWOPER certification (can be provided if not already obtained)

    + Experience with environmental consulting, site remediation, and sampling techniques

    + Desire to grow toward PG, PE, or EIT certification

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $35.10 - $38.46/hr.
