Job Title: 1st Shift Machinist
Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Machinist with expertise in CNC machining, including CNC Turning Lathes, Vertical Machining Centers, and Horizontal Machining Centers. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of quality control and knowledge of raw materials used in metal manufacturing. The ability to select the appropriate tooling for manufacturing parts and independently set up machines is essential. Furthermore, candidates should be proficient in performing quality checks using hard gauges.
Responsibilities
+ Operate CNC Turning Lathes, Vertical Machining Centers, and Horizontal Machining Centers.
+ Select tooling required for the manufacturing of parts.
+ Independently set up CNC machines.
+ Perform quality checks using hard gauges.
+ Understand and apply knowledge of raw materials used in metal manufacturing.
+ Work with CNC controls to make necessary program adjustments.
+ Perform changeovers and setups on CNC machines.
+ Utilize overhead cranes for moving materials.
Must Have Skills
+ **At least 3 years of experience as a CNC Machinist.**
+ Proficient understanding of GD&T.
+ Ability to use hard gauges to measure parts accurately.
+ Experience with CNC controls and making program adjustments.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Blueprint reading skills.
+ Knowledge in custom machining.
+ Leadership communication.
+ Scheduling and planning capabilities.
+ Computer proficiency.
+ Familiarity with manufacturing processes, fabrication, brake press, welding, and production.
+ Aspiration to take on a lead role is a plus.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $54080.00 - $54080.00/yr.
