Our programs support multiple Federal agencies, including the Department of Defense.We are seeking a Senior Subject Matter Expert to support our customer’s operations in Washington, DC.This effort provides our Government customer with IT Staffing and Consulting services.This position will be on-site.

Responsibilities:

+ Provides expert support, analysis and research into exceptionally complex problems, and processes relating to the subject matter. Serves as technical expert on executive-level project teams providing technical direction, interpretation and alternatives.

+ Thinks independently and demonstrates exceptional written and oral communications skills.

+ Applies advanced technical principles, theories, and concepts.

+ Contributes to the development of new principles and concepts.

+ Works on unusually complex technical problems and provides solutions which are highly innovative and ingenious.

+ Works under consultative direction toward predetermined long- range goals and objectives.

+ Assignments are often self-initiated.

+ Determines and pursues courses of action necessary to obtain desired results.

+ Develops advanced technological ideas and guides their development into a final product.

+ Expertise is in a particular area of Information Technology (e.g., Information Systems Architecture, Telecommunications Systems Design, Architecture, Implementation, Information Systems Integration, Software Development Methodologies, Security Engineering, Communications and Network Systems Management), or a specific functional area (e.g., finance, logistics, and operations research).

Qualifications

Essential Requirements:

+ US Citizenship

Required Experience:

+ At least seven years of experience in specified technical field, or four years of recent, demonstrated experience with specified emerging technology and four years of experience in a closely related technical field.

+ Requires eight years of analytical experience.

Education and Certifications:

+ BA/BS or MA/MS in computer science, information systems, mathematics, relevant field, or equivalent experience required.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will regularly sit, walk, stand, and climb stairs and steps. May require walking long distance from parking to workstation. Occasionally, movement that requires twisting at the neck and/or trunk more than the average person, squatting/ stooping/kneeling, reaching above the head, and forward motion will be required. The employee will continuously be required to repeat the same hand, arm, or finger motion many times. Manual and finger dexterity are essential to this position. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close, distance, depth perception and telling differences among colors. The employee must be able to communicate through speech with clients and the public. Hearing requirements include conversation in both quiet and noisy environments. Lifting may require floor to waist, waist to shoulder, or shoulder to overhead movement of up to 20 pounds. This position demands tolerance for various levels of mental stress.
