**Travel Required:** Projects in Louisiana, Texas, and across the Midwest
**Job Type:** Contract-to-Hire
**Pay:** $25–$35/hr (DOE & Equipment Expertise)
**Per Diem:** Provided + Mileage Reimbursement
**Schedule:** Monday–Friday, 6AM–6PM; occasional Saturdays
**Overtime:** 20–35 hrs/week
•️ Job Overview
Join a fast-paced civil construction team as a Heavy Equipment Operator, specializing in utility tractors and earthmoving operations. This travel role provides strong compensation, generous per diem, and ample overtime in various active project sites.
• Responsibilities
+ Operate utility tractors (Fendt preferred), Excavators, Dozers, and Motor Graders
+ Perform pre- and post-shift equipment inspections
+ Execute earthwork tasks in areas such as cuts, fills, and haul roads
+ Coordinate with fellow operators and site team
+ Maintain strict adherence to OSHA safety protocols
• Required Skills & Experience
+ Minimum 3 years of experience operating heavy equipment in civil/commercial construction
+ Expertise in grading, earthwork, and earthmoving
+ Skilled in operating Sheeps Foot Rollers, Discs, and Box Blades
+ Valid Driver’s License preferred
+ Insurability to drive company vehicles is a plus
• Work Environment
+ Outdoor civil construction sites, typically converted farmland
+ High-activity areas requiring communication and safety awareness
+ Professional appearance and conduct required under Site Code of Conduct

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $25.00/hr.
