    Job Title: Machine Operator/Delta Operator

    Job Description

    The role involves performing necessary pre-operation activities to ensure proper equipment startup and operation on multiple pieces of equipment. You will be responsible for operating and monitoring multiple pieces of equipment during operation to ensure quality production and minimize unplanned stops. Working in a fast-paced, high-speed environment, you will need to follow standardized work practices and adhere to safety protocols in a continuous improvement setting.

    Responsibilities

    + Load and unload items on the production line, including packaging or unpacking products.

    + Start and stop the production line as needed to maintain workflow and prevent potential safety hazards.

    + Inspect products for defects and remove items from the line before they proceed further in the production process.

    + Ensure products are produced within 100% specification as requested by the customer.

    + Deliver products to meet scheduled customer demands and quality objectives.

    + Collaborate with manufacturing staff on quality and production-related issues.

    + Read and understand ruler and traceability records.

    + Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor.

    Essential Skills

    + Experience in production, machine operation, assembly, and general production.

    + Proficiency with hand tools and tape measures.

    + Ability to interpret a variety of technical instructions.

    + Experience reading blueprints and taking measurements with a ruler.

    + Capability to run and operate similar equipment.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + 3+ years of experience in operating machinery and inspection in a similar function or environment.

    + Experience working in a manufacturing environment.

    + Display knowledge of key areas of the manufacturing process.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $27.26/hr.
