    The Global Security Operations Center Support Operator,assigned to a specific client, will support the Global Safety and Security program. The Operator completes research, analysis, and authors impact assessments using both internal and open-source materials to produce and distribute security products through approved channels.

    Responsibilities

    + Represent Pinkerton’s core values of integrity, vigilance, and excellence.

    + Conduct regular monitoring of open-source news, social media platforms and client specific intelligences gathering tools for known and potential threats to company security, personnel, general operations, or reputation.

    + Conduct in-depth research on a wide range of issues pertaining to global security, such as terrorism, natural disasters, crime trends, viral outbreaks, as well as international politics and economies to understand potential impact to areas where the client has operational interests.

    + Monitor geopolitical events that may impact executive travel, company events, and/or operations, and provide periodic and timely reporting.

    + Effectively analyze relevant threats and produce actionable intelligence deliverables in a timely manner for any and all incidents.

    + Create intelligence reports and products, including but not limited to threat assessments and travel risk assessments.

    + Gathering and maintaining database of statistics across the overall operation via manual and approved software base methods.

    + Provide travel risk support to the Executive Protection team with actionable intel and monitoring of travel routes and executive residences.

    + Safeguard and maintain highly sensitive and confidential information.

    + Respond to alarms in a timely manner following the provided SOPs for various locations and incidents and coordinate effectively with internal and external teams.

    + Receive and respond to emergency and non-emergency calls from employees, vendors, law enforcement, on-site security officers, and automated alarm notification calls.

    + Conduct CCTV video review to investigate alarms, incidents, and other safety/security events.

    + Develop and maintain relationships with public and private sector security community stakeholders.

    + All other duties, as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Bachelor’s degree or equivalent four years of GSOC/intelligence experience and at least one year of protective intelligence with an advanced ability to collect and analyze large quantities of data into assessments, publications, and reports.

     

    + Understanding of all major social media platforms.

    + Knowledge on world news and current events.

    + Flexible work style and able to function independently in stressful situations.

    + Knowledge of security procedures, life-safety, and business continuity.

    + Able to source information and deliver accurate reports with little to no direction.

    + Maintain a sense of urgency and able to complete key time-stamped SLAs/KPIs when issuing reports.

    + Strong analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.

    + Able to provide high level customer service to a wide range of clients, senior executives and external vendors.

    + Effective technical writing, verbal communication, and presentation skills.

    + Serve as a positive and effective team leader.

    + Able to interact effectively at all levels of an organization and across diverse cultures.

    + Results orientated.

    + Able to work in a fast-paced environment under multiple deadlines and competing priorities.

    + Maintain confidentiality when dealing with sensitive information.

    + Computer skills; Microsoft Office.

    Working Conditions:

    + Occasional reaching and lifting of small objects and operating office equipment.

    + Frequent sitting, standing, and/or walking.
