Job Description:
Student Assistant – knowledgeable in Microsoft Office – Teams, Word, Excel; phone and email protocol/courtesies
Availability: 10-20 hours a week, work hours may be flexible within the regular work week of 8am-5pm, Monday-Friday
Responsibilities:
1. Data entry
Manage data entry for summer camp evaluations, scholarships, shooting sports events/registration, and camp registration
Create and organize design or program projects, using Canva and Microsoft Office tools
Contact 4-H families regarding camp and shooting sports events and assist them with registrations
Assist, as available, with in-person 4-H events
2. Program Development
Help with shooting sports events, both scheduling and attending in-person events as available
Collect curricula and program goals to help establish environmental and outdoor education classes
3. Office Help
Answer phones at 4-H State HQ Office and help as needed with 4-H State HQ tasks
Help with miscellaneous tasks, including but not limited to, mailings, summer camp flyers and marketing, organizing and storing files, etc.
Advertised Salary:
$13/hour
Minimum Requirements:
Must have a current Federal Work Study work award. Must have reliable transportation to East Campus, where the State 4-H Headquarters Office is.
Preferred Qualifications:
Data entry, knowledgeable in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, TEAMS) and Adobe. Strong Communication and organizational skills, ability to work independently as well as follow verbal and written instructions. Demonstrate professional etiquette in the office and on the phone. Willing to learn.
