POSITION: Technology Project Manager – delivery
WORKSITE: 110 Gillingham Lane, Sugar Land, Texas 77478
JOB DUTIES: Plan and supervise the work of a team of staff necessary to deliver a new product or technology. Work with the supervisor and team members to identify and organize the best approach to executing the tasks required for the project and take full responsibility for the detailed project plan and resources. Ensure that their team follows the applicable Product Delivery Process and adheres to all the relevant Standards and Procedures. Deliver and/or sustain the product or technology at the necessary level of quality to respect the requirements established by the business stakeholders (e.g. requirements, timeline and budget). Provide technical documentation from the team that describes proven solutions for the project, including design files, technical drawings and specifications documents as required by the SLB Technology management system. Monitor and guide good working practices relating to Quality, Safety, Health and Environment, technical rigor, professional behavior and performance of the assigned team. Maintain the necessary level of expertise for self and team through training and development as appropriate for the execution of the project. with the supervisor, set annual objectives and performs regular appraisals of performance for the assigned team.
MINIMUM EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, systems engineering, or related.
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 5 years’ experience with health, safety and environment (HSE), including creation and maintenance of hazard assessments and risk control, and compliance audits. Root cause analysis, failure analysis, and reliability applied to downhole oil and gas tools. Oil and gas downhole manufacturing and quality compliance, applying LEAN principles and tools (5S, Kanban and Kaizen), hydraulics and downhole electromechanical assemblies for oil and gas industry. Direct People Management (diverse teams, technical / operational) and management by influence (demonstrated ability to work with other functions and peers). Technology Lifecycle Projects including projects exposed to uncertainties and rapid changes environments. Risk assessments and management of change applied to oil and gas industry. Developing business impact plans for medium to long term timeframes, including financial, operational and reliability assessments. Data Analytics, including PowerBI modelling and visualization. Driving presentations for executive management, high level management and cross-functional teams, including presentation creation, delivery and follow-up. 2 years' experience (within the 5) managing projects using DevOps or similar.
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:** **5% travel to Middle East and Asia for field visits and audits.
