    Position Overview

    The Engineering Clerk will be responsible for assisting the Engineering Department Manager, Design Engineers and Inside Sales Engineers with Item and BOM creation in the ERP system, Work instructions, and other duties as assigned.

    Key Responsibilities

    Enter Items into Item Master and Item Branch in ERP system.

     

    Create BOM’s in ERP system.

     

    Create, Edit and properly file Work Instructions, Forms and process flowcharts.

     

    Create and update technical data sheets for products.

     

    Work with purchasing if needed, to order any long lead items (pre-Releases)

    Qualifications

    Associates degree a plus but not required.

     

    Minimum of 3 years of experience in technical environment with emphasis on engineering, production, purchasing, or planning

     

    Proficiency w / MRP system (preferably JD Edwards Enterprise One)

     

    Proficiency w/ Word & Excel

     

    Ability to read prints

     

    Ability to Search ERP System Data, Vault and network file data in an efficient manner.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    Self Motivated

    Knowledge of:

    Routing Processes

     

    Product costing

     

    Good problem solving skills

     

    Engineering process

     

    Ability to read prints

     

    Good organizational skills

     

    Good communication skills

    Physical Requirements:

    Ability to work in a manufacturing environment, including standing for extended periods.

     

    Compensation and Benefits

     

    Pay Range: $20.00-27.00/hour
