Summary You will serve as a PROGRAM MANAGER in the PROGRAM MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT of NAVAIRWARCENAC DIV. Responsibilities You will manage and support the team to achieve program technical, cost and schedule objectives. You will develop and coordinate all required program acquisition documentation and briefings. You will interface with Resource Sponsors in developing and defending requirements and program budgets. You will analyze needs and requirements information necessary for development of specific objectives for assigned program initiatives and for planning. You will apply the tools and techniques of process identification and continuous process improvement in addressing program management problems and issues. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the (DA-05) pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate some or all of the following: 1) Utilizing a wide range of technical and business systems, processes, and practices used to manage weapon systems acquisition; 2) Reviewing, analyzing, and implementing higher level procurement policies; 3) Managing project/program requirements, objectives and metrics, and resolving conflicts among schedules, funding, and resources; 4) Identifying opportunities to incorporate process improvements and best practices utilizing customer feedback, internal and external audits, self-assessment, and lessons learned activities; and 5) Advising management and colleagues on difficult problems, conducting special studies, proposing options and alternatives, and representing a command.
