CTG is seeking to fill a Software Developer 2 opening for our client in Austin, TX.
**Location:** Austin, TX
Duties:
+ Design, code, and modify complex computer programs, APIs, triggers, stored procedures, objects, classes, and scripts using C#, ASP.NET Core, Angular, and Oracle Database.
+ Conduct thorough testing of assigned programs, including creating test data, writing scripts, and debugging.
+ Apply current software development methodologies and standards to ensure code quality and maintainability.
+ Participate in code reviews for compliance with system and business requirements.
+ Collaborate with trainers, tech support, network specialists, and contractors to update or implement systems.
+ Diagnose and resolve production issues, including performing necessary analysis, coding, testing, and implementation.
+ Analyze business requirements for new applications and enhancements.
+ Work closely with development team members to coordinate tasks and provide project updates.
+ Assist in developing and maintaining system documentation.
Skills:
+ Strong proficiency in C#, ASP.NET Core, Web API, RESTful services, and Entity Framework
+ Skilled in Angular, including TypeScript, RxJS, Angular CLI, and component-based architecture
+ Expertise in PL/SQL programming within Oracle Database environments
+ Excellent logical reasoning and system design capabilities
+ Strong oral and written communication skills
+ Effective interpersonal skills for team collaboration and leadership
+ Awareness of industry trends, architecture principles, and IT best practices
+ Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies
Experience:
+ 5+ years of experience in computer programming and systems development
+ 5+ years of experience in debugging and supporting complex business applications
+ 4+ years of experience with architectural concepts, security practices, and infrastructure tools
+ 2+ years of familiarity with enterprise information architecture and software infrastructure components
Education:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and/or Engineering
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
