We’re seeking a driven and results-oriented Inside Sales Area Sales Manager (ASM) to lead all inside (virtual/telephone-based) sales efforts within a defined geographical territory. This role will be responsible for managing existing retail independent dealers, supporting select national accounts, and actively prospecting new business to drive growth and expand market share. The ideal candidate is passionate about relationship-building, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is motivated by hitting and exceeding sales targets.

How You'll Create Possibilities
Key Responsibilities:
+ Lead all inside sales efforts within your assigned territory, using phone, video, and email communication to engage retail independent dealers and national accounts.
+ Build strong relationships with current accounts and proactively identify and close new business opportunities to expand the customer base.
+ Develop and execute a comprehensive call strategy to drive revenue growth, ensure consistent touchpoints, and improve customer engagement.
+ Maintain a strong understanding of GE Appliances’ product offerings and educate customers on new products, promotions, market trends, and sales tools.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Regional Managers, Field Area Sales Managers, Buying Group Managers, and internal support teams to align on goals and maximize sales effectiveness.
+ Utilize digital tools and CRM systems to streamline sales activities, track performance, and ensure timely follow-up.
+ Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitive activity, and territory opportunities; translate insights into actionable sales strategies.
+ Oversee and manage all post-sale administrative tasks to ensure a seamless customer experience.
What You'll Bring to Our Team
Minimum Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
+ Minimum of 3 years of relevant sales experience
+ Flexible availability to support customers across different time zones
+ Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
+ Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
+ Demonstrated success in developing and executing sales plans
+ Excellent verbal and written communication, organizational, and presentation skills
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Experience in retail, direct, or inside/telephone-based sales
+ Familiarity with CRM systems and digital sales tools
