    Job Overview

     

    We are seeking a casual Registered Nurse Educator to join our Corporate Education Float Team in Edina, MN!

     

    Day/Evening/Night shift

     

    Casual/On-call schedule

     

    Weekends as needed

     

    This role provides training and education to a variety of audiences, including but not limited to, employees, clients, family and the general public.     A Brief Overview

     

    This position provides training and education to a variety of audiences, including but not limited to, employees, clients, family and the general public. In addition, this position provides supervision and skills verification for the licensed and unlicensed nursing staff.

    Required Qualifications

    + Associate of Science Vocational/Technical Training or Associate Degree - Nursing

    + less than 1 year None to 1 Year

    + Proficient in Microsoft Windows 7

    + Registered Nurse RN Licensure/Registered with the MN Board of Nursing

    + Basic Life Support (American Heart Assoc or Red Cross) Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Health Care Provider from American Heart Association (AHA) or American Red Cross; accepted certifications as follows -AHA: BLS for Healthcare Providers (CPR & AED) Program or BLS Provider - BLS Instructor. American Red Cross: CPR/AED for Professional Rescuers and/or Healthcare Providers, Life Guarding First Aid/CPR/AED

    Preferred Qualifications

    + Bachelor of Science Nursing

    + 1 year One to Three Years

    + Proficient in Eldermark Computer Documentation Software

    + Prior supervisory experience

    + Prior experience in home care or assisted living environment
