**Job Title** : Technology Manager-Lead Platform Engineer
**Location** : New York, USA
**Travel** :25%
Key Responsibilities:
Monitor and maintain AWS infrastructure (EC2, S3, IAM, CloudWatch).
Perform routine OS administration tasks on Windows and Linux servers.
Troubleshoot and resolve moderately complex system and network issues.
Apply patches and updates to OS and cloud resources.
Manage user access, permissions, and security groups in AWS and OS.
Execute backup and restore procedures.
Document standard operating procedures and incident resolutions.
Provide support for deployment and configuration tasks.
L3 Responsibilities (Advanced Level):
Design and implement scalable, secure AWS architectures.
Lead root cause analysis for critical incidents and outages.
Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform or CloudFormation.
Optimize system performance and cloud resource utilization.
Implement advanced security controls and compliance measures.
Architect and manage high availability and disaster recovery solutions.
Mentor L1/L2 team members and lead technical initiatives.
Collaborate with DevOps and development teams on CI/CD and infrastructure automation.
Required Skills:
CI/CD Tools: Jenkins, GitLab CI, AWS CodePipeline
Containers: Docker, ECS, EKS
Configuration Management: Ansible, Puppet, Chef
Backup & DR: AWS Backup, third-party tools
Cost Optimization: AWS Budgets, Trusted Advisor
ITIL Practices: Incident, Change, and Problem Management
Desired Skills:
AWS Services: EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch, CloudTrail
OS Administration: Windows Server (AD, DNS, GPO), Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu)
Infrastructure as Code: Terraform, CloudFormation
Scripting: PowerShell, Bash, Python
Monitoring & Logging: CloudWatch, Nagios, Zabbix
Security: IAM policies, OS hardening, patch management
Networking: TCP/IP, DNS, VPN, firewalls
