Position: Patient & Family Concierge
Department: Emergency Department
Schedule: Full-Time (36 hours/week) | Evening/Night Shifts
Rotation: Every other weekend & rotating holidays

This dynamic role offers the opportunity to work across multiple departments, ensuring a seamless and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff alike.
What You’ll Do
You’ll serve as a versatile team member, supporting a wide range of services:
Destination Coordination
Warmly greet and assist patients and visitors with directions and escort services.
Provide information while maintaining patient confidentiality.
Issue parking passes, scooters, and assist with patient belongings.
Environmental Services
Clean and organize patient rooms and public areas.
Change linens, remove trash, and restock supplies.
Report maintenance issues promptly.
• Dietary Services
Assemble and deliver meals based on dietary needs.
Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are met.
Respond to patient nourishment requests.
Transportation Services
Safely transport patients, equipment, and specimens.
Disinfect transport equipment and log activities.
Report and track equipment maintenance needs.
Telehealth Support
Set up and sanitize telehealth carts for virtual appointments.
Perform weekly functionality checks and escalate issues as needed.
Supply & Equipment Management
Order and stock unit supplies and equipment.
Monitor inventory, expiration dates, and maintain logs.
Support unit-specific needs like stocking family lounges or kitchens.
General Support
Answer phones, respond to call lights, and assist with patient mobility.
Round hourly to ensure patient and unit needs are met.
Distribute daily care plans and maintain educational resources.

+ Must have the desire, drive, and compassion needed to provide an exceptional patient and family experience at all times.
+ High School diploma
+ OR active High School/GED program enrollment
+ OR one year of previous job experience required in lieu of HS Diploma/GED.
+ Previous experience in health care or customer service is a plus, but not required.
+ Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. **Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:**
+ Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting with renewal
+ Act 33 with renewal
+ Act 34 with renewal
+ Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewal
