Your Opportunity
We’re seeking an Administrative Professional to join our Program & Construction Management (PMCM) Buildings team! In this dynamic role, you’ll play a critical part in supporting project administration, controls, and marketing efforts. You’ll collaborate closely with marketing, business development, and project teams to produce compelling proposals, presentations, and communications that help drive PMCM’s financial and market success.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, thrives in fast-paced deadline driven environments, and excels at managing multiple priorities while communicating effectively and contributing as a proactive team player.
Your Key Responsibilities
+ Work with Project teams to assist in general project admin responsibilities
+ Responsible for project cost control (budget tracking, cost tracking etc.)
+ Support with timecards, expense reports, meeting scheduling and other general project logistics or related functions
+ Assist with project event planning and meetings
+ Ensuring office, equipment and first aid supplies are purchased and maintained
+ Assist with orientations for new project staff
+ Assist in developing materials for event coordination, project opportunities and proposals
+ Collaborate with the Marketing team on key Buildings PMCM pursuits, marketing campaigns, presentations, and other promotional activities in alignment with the Stantec brand.
+ Work with Buildings PMCM leadership and marketing to help manage the implementation of the approved promotional and marketing plans within assigned budget, leveraging various marketing tools including advertising, client events, media, community investment, professional and business associations and events, social media, conferences/tradeshows, and others as defined.
+ Coordinate with marketing on conferences and tradeshows, ceremonies, community engagement, publicity engagements and advertising.
+ Assist in the development and coordination of content for Stantec's communications systems/tools including the Stantec Marketing Knowledge Center (SMKC), Stantec Pipeline, stantec.com, and The Lens.
Your Capabilities & Credentials
+ Experience in developing responses to detailed requests for proposals (RFPs) is preferred.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
+ Strong knowledge and understanding of marketing best practices.
+ Detail oriented and organized, with exceptional prioritization skills.
+ Ability to effectively balance competing priorities.
+ Demonstrated proficiency with web-based tools and Microsoft Office applications including but not limited to Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
+ Working knowledge in the use of desktop publishing software such as InDesign, Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, etc.
+ Strong visual presentation skills (e.g., PowerPoint) for small or large group environments, with proficiency in presentation support tools (e.g., brochures, placemats, trifolds).
+ Ability to effectively communicate with senior management, supervisors, peers, and clients, internally and externally.
+ Ability to work effectively within a group, as well as independently, and enjoy working with different personality styles and management levels, both in person and across geographies.
Education and Experience
+ Post-Secondary education in business administration, marketing, communications, visual design, or similar.
+ Minimum 5-8 years experience performing a similar role
+ Experience in Architecture/Engineering/Construction or PMCM services industry is an asset
Typical office environment working with computers and remaining sedentary for long periods of time. Field work may include exposure to the elements including inclement weather.

**Pay Transparency:** In compliance with pay transparency laws, pay ranges are provided for positions in locations where required. Please note, the final agreed upon compensation is based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. At Stantec certain roles are bonus eligible.
