    Job Title: Test Engineer Air-Air

    Key Responsibilities

    • Monitor government and contractor progress in meeting requirements and milestones to ensure compliance with the 96 TW test execution plan.• Lead the integration of prime contractor test planning efforts into the 96 TW test process.• Lead the production and approval of 96 TW test planning documentation.• Be responsible for the development, preparation, and review of various test documentation, including data plans, methods of test, flight cards, and analysis reports.• Conduct ongoing liaison with members of the government and contractor integrated test team.• Perform Test Conductor duties.• Familiarity with instrumentation, test ranges, test aircraft, aircrew procedures, data and safety constraints associated with developmental test.• Experience or familiarity with testing at locations such as Eglin AFB, Edwards AFB, China Lake NAS• Experience with developmental testing in a highly classified environment up to Special Access Program levels

    Required Qualifications

    • Master's degree in Engineering or Science in the applicable field from an ABET-accredited engineering program. (BS+8 yrs relevant experience OR 12 yrs relevant experience may be substituted for a Master's degree.) • At least ten years of acquisition and engineering experience or six years of test experience specifically devoted to Air-to-Air Weapons Systems.• Experience with aircraft and weapons integration and testing.• Familiarity with instrumentation, range, aircraft, aircrew, data, infrastructure, and safety constraints associated with developmental flight test.• Excellent written and verbal skills with the ability to present test plans to a wide audience.• Able to lead teams and coordinate test resources to achieve desired outcomes.• Able to interpret and analyze test data and write test reports.• Self-Motivated to learn a new system under test and be proactive to meet program requirements.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Master's degree in Physics from an ABET-accredited engineering program.• Test Pilot School Graduate.• Familiarity with government and prime contractor interactions during the acquisition and testing of aircraft and weapons.• Familiarity with the 96 TW test process

    Security Clearance:

    Ability to obtain and hold a SECRET security clearance.
