Job Summary
The Administrative Specialist II provides both administrative and clerical support to the department, either as part of a team or individually, to ensure the smooth operation of departmental functions. This role serves as a key resource to staff and plays an integral part in maintaining an organized and efficient work environment.
This position is full-time, onsite, and supports our Employee Health Office for the Charlotte Market. Hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM. The role is based at the Employee Health Office, where it provides front desk support along with other administrative duties as assigned.
Job Relationships:
Reports to and receives assignments from Manager-level leadership.

Qualifications
+ Education: High School Diploma or GED, required. Education in basic office procedures.
+ Experience:
+ Two years of administrative support experience, required.
+ Administrative support experience, preferred.
+ Additional Skills (required): Ability to effectively communicate with physicians and hospital staff. Ability to use a variety of software packages, such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel, Access, etc., to produce correspondence and documents and maintain presentations, records, spreadsheets and databases; Ability to successfully complete generic and department-specific skills validation and competency testing.Communication: Creates an environment that supports and respects diversity to promote creative problem solving. Communicates the value of activities within the organization and community to gain cooperation and collaborative partnership. Customer Service: Holds staff accountable for customer service standards and ensures service recovery when needed. Ensures staff responds to customers in a timely manner. Inclusion & Belonging: Fosters a work environment of inclusion and belonging. Digital Fluency: Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, specifically Excel, Word, Teams, and PowerPoint.
