POSITION OVERVIEW:
The Facilities Manager will manage all aspects of the facilities maintenance activities for our global laser tattoo removal studios and corporate headquarters to provide safe and operationally sound buildings in terms of equipment, resources, internal structure and external grounds. The Facilities Manager works with local service providers, inspectors and property managers in caring for the overall functional performance of the building and equipment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ Oversee the day-to-day operations of the facility(ies) and Headquarters, including all trades
+ Ensure custodial, life-safety, HVAC, plumbing, and general maintenance, are implemented and completed out in a timely and efficient manner
+ Manage and regularly review all vendor contracts, ensuring compliance with contract requirements, and are bid out as required; validate that vendor invoices match contract pricing
+ Respond positively and promptly to requests from Store Ops, studio associates, and landlords
+ Manage all preventative maintenance programs relating to the interior and exterior conditions and appearance of the properties and keep records
+ Prepare, review, and give initial approval and as needed all budgets, financial reports (monthly and quarterly), contracts, expenditures and proposals related to the facility(ies) or complex
+ Coordinate the preparation and publication of the annual budget, quarterly reforecast, and business plans based on trends.
+ Manage new store set ups for procurement
+ Collect, analyze and report statistical data as may be required to provide accurate and current assessment of facility management objectives
+ Monitor and ensure that tenants and vendors comply with insurance requirements and coordinate all claims, as required
+ Manage all updates, realignments and new hires on all platforms including procurement and CMMS (Fexa)
+ Vendor management and accountability
+ Special projects related to rebrand or remodels
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
+ 5+ years of relevant facilities/construction management experience
+ Ability to juggle multiple deadlines & projects in a fast-paced environment along with a knack for solving problems and spotting inefficiencies
+ Excellent organizational and time-management skills with resilient attention to detail
+ Strong interpersonal skills; approaches tasks with positive attitude and enthusiasm; diplomatic and dependable
+ Experience managing a budget and allocating financial resources appropriately
+ Proven record of managing vendor relations
+ Organizational and project management skills
+ Ability to professionally communicate both internally and externally with individuals at all levels of an organization
+ High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, and Outlook
+ Ability to work with minimal supervision; learn quickly and change direction on short notice
