The Senior Accountant will assist the AAR Parts Trading accounting team with the month-end close process, account reconciliations, audit requests, supporting business activities and ad hoc requests while adhering to GAAP requirements, SOX controls and internal policies.
What you will be responsible for:
+ Responsible for daily accounting operations including journal entries, reporting, audit requests and month end close support.
+ Responsible for Account Analysis/Reconciliations.
+ Prepare and report daily sales and inventory balances for Parts Trading.
+ Prepare AAR FRPs.
+ Prepare foreign representative commissions payments.
+ Miscellaneous projects as assigned or directed.
+ All other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
What you will need to be successful in this role:
+ Bachelor of Arts degree (B.A.) or Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) from four-year college or university; or eight years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
+ 2 - 4 years of previous experience in a corporate accounting environment.

Compensation:
The anticipated salary range for this position is $75,000 to $85,000 annually. This range reflects the base salary for candidates who meet the requirements of the role, including experience, education, and location. [In addition to base pay, this role is eligible for a bonus.] AAR offers a competitive benefits package, including medical/dental/vision/life/and AD&D insurance, 401(k) savings plan with employer match, paid time off and holiday pay, as well as opportunities for professional development and growth.
