The Software Engineer III - UI Developer is responsible for the design, development, enhancement, and maintenance of front-end user interfaces for enterprise applications. The role focuses on creating robust, scalable, and accessible UI applications that align with best practices and standards, ensuring seamless integration with back-end systems. Key focus areas include delivering responsive and user-centric designs, implementing accessibility compliance, collaborating within Agile teams, and optimizing performance for enterprise-scale applications.

Responsibilities
+ Develop and maintain front-end user interfaces using Angular, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript for enterprise applications.
+ Implement ADA/Accessibility compliance standards for UI designs to ensure inclusivity for all users.
+ Participate in all phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including design, development, testing, deployment, and maintenance.
+ Follow Agile development principles, contributing to iterative planning sessions, stand-ups, and retrospectives.
+ Debug, optimize, and update front-end UI elements to enhance performance, scalability, and maintainability.
+ Execute Test-Driven Development (TDD) using tools such as Karma, Jasmine, and Selenium to increase code reliability.
+ Integrate responsive design best practices to create consistent user experiences across devices and platforms.
+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including back-end developers, UX designers, and QA teams, to deliver high-quality software.
+ Perform system troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolve production issues efficiently to maintain application reliability.
+ Create and update artifacts such as technical specifications, design documents, and user manuals to support team and client understanding of projects.
+ Conduct performance tests on developed UI components and provide recommendations for improvement.
+ Contribute to the continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) pipeline by supporting automation scripts related to front-end deployments.
+ Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Here’s What You Need
+ 8 years Hands-on experience in Front End/UI development, enhancing and maintaining enterprise-class applications using Angular and/or similar frameworks on theJ2EE application development platform.
+ 8 years Required Hands-on experience participating in all phases of the SDLC (Systems Development Life Cycle).
+ 8 years Hands-on UI development experience implementing Authentication and Authorization, Caching strategies.
+ 8 years Hands-on programming experience in following languages: HTML5, JavaScript, JQuery, AJAX, CSS3, Bootstrap, SASS, Angular, Typescript, JSON, XML, ES5/ES6, NPM, Maven and/or other UI frameworks/libraries.
+ 8 years Demonstrable experience developing, optimizing, and maintaining an enterprise-level Front End/UI application including complete ownership of the front-end stack (JavaScript/HTML/CSS, Angular and/or other UI frameworks).
+ 8 years Required Experience implementing Client-facing applications with responsive design and development.
+ 8 years Required Experience implementing SPAs with JS or with libraries/frameworks like Angular.
+ 8 years 8 Required Experience in development of self-contained, reusable, and testable modules and components.
+ 8 years Required Strong understanding and experience of fundamental programming concepts of data structures, algorithms, performance, caching and scalability issues in the context of Web based UI applications.
+ 8 years Required Experience in developing and testing application user interface for ADA/Accessibility Compliance.
+ 8 years’ experience in implementing best practices in the areas of application design, performance, scalability and maintainability.
+ 8 years’ experience in Test-driven development and test creation using frameworks such as Karma, Jasmine, Selenium
+ Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment.
Desired Qualifications:
+ 5 years Preferred Hands-on experience with Spring Boot Java Applications.
+ 5 years Preferred Hands-on experience with IBM WebSphere Application Server 8 or later.
+ 5 years Preferred Hands-on experience with Agile Development Methodologies (preferably Scrum)
+ 5 years Preferred Hands-on experience with web applications developed for Cloud platform
+ 5 years Preferred Hands-on experience with CI/CD methodology
+ 5 years Preferred Hands-on development experience for mobile and tablet platforms

Working Conditions
+ Professional hybrid office environment.
+ Ability to work on-site in Austin, Texas
+ 3 days remote, 2 days (Monday & Tuesday) required to be on-site.
+ Must be physically and mentally able to perform duties extended periods of time.
+ Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed to meet the demands of this position.
+ Must be able to establish a productive and professional workspace.
+ Must be able to sit for long periods of time looking at computer screen.
+ May be asked to work a flexible schedule which may include holidays.
+ May be asked to travel for business or professional development purposes.
+ May be asked to work hours outside of normal business hours.
