We are currently seeking a full-time Inventory Planner / Buyer to join our dynamic & driven team on-site in Loveland who will be responsible for various inventory planning functions that directly support daily business operations / manufacturing in the Loveland, CO facility.
Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager, this person will be a key member of a core supply chain team that includes experienced professionals in Procurement, Commodity Management, Supplier Quality, and Manufacturing in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate will be a key team member in inventory management and buying, developing / deploying standard processes in support of ongoing continuous improvement efforts within supply chain and manufacturing operations teams.
In this role, you will be responsible for:
+ Developing and maintaining detailed inventories of materials and supplies located in the company. Monitoring the inventory levels to ensure optimal stock is maintained.
+ Using software for inventory management to accurately track material flow, organization, and warehousing. Preparing detailed reports on inventory operations, stock levels, and adjustments.
+ Facilitating cycle counts & annual full physical inventory, identifying and resolving discrepancies between inventory records and stock levels. Conducting regular audits to ensure data integrity and compliance with industry standards and best practices.
+ Work closely with fellow buyers (processing PO’s, monitoring supplier OTD, negotiating with vendors, etc..), material handlers, production operators, production planners, and the shipping/receiving team in a fast-paced environment with a continuous focus on maintaining quality, accuracy, and safety standards.
The required qualifications for the job include:
+ Bachelor degree in related field with 2+ years relevant experience in inventory planning / buying experience or closely related to.
+ Excellent communication and exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills. Detail oriented performer that is result’s driven with a strong sense of time management, organization, and urgency.
+ Proficiency with MRP/ERP systems (Oracle preferred), computer skills, and data entry knowledge, MS Office (Outlook, TEAMS, Excel, etc.).
+ Thorough understanding of the procurement process from experience with RFQ’s, buying experience, supplier relations, and pricing negotiations.
+ Other duties & responsibilities as necessary.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
+ Be a champion for material planning processes and inventory control countermeasures. Promote problem solving around supplier On Time Delivery (OTD) misses daily and provide feedback to affected parties on delivery misses.
+ Have experience in procurement/buying to make a more well-rounded team member as cross-training will occur within this role.
+ Kanban knowledge/experience preferred
Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements: if applicable for role
+ Travel is not planned but could occur on a very limited basis and would be based on any changing needs of the business.
+ You must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
+ Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 45lb, any other physical requirements.
+ This is primarily an office position though walking, standing, bending, and reaching will be required on a regular basis.
The annual salary range for this role is $85,000 to $90,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future.
This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
