Job Description
The Admissions Specialist IV helps record and maintain student and applicant information, including all applicant data, transfer credits, and articulation tables. This role will ensure accurate and timely application decisions and transfer credit evaluations as part of the Undergraduate Transfer Articulation process.Responsibilities:
+ Processes applications, transcripts, test scores and other credentials for admission from prospective undergraduate students and determines admission status.
+ Matches admission credentials to file and updates status in Admissions systems (Banner, department logs, etc.)
+ Evaluates undergraduate domestic transcripts, which may include: evaluating course equivalencies, academic status, repeated courses, etc.
+ Evaluates undergraduate foreign credential evaluations, which may include: evaluating course equivalencies, academic status, repeated courses, etc.
+ Receives Admission audit reports and makes corrections, as needed.
+ Assists with the Undergraduate Transfer Articulation process.
+ Processing daily undergraduate transcript articulations, including IB, AP, CLEP, and Foreign Credential Evaluations.
+ Reviewing reports for discrepancy cleanup.
+ Revising transfer credit articulations based on inquiries from Academic Advising
+ Updating the Articulation Table, to include reviewing TCCNS equivalencies, building and maintaining accurate transfer institution records in the SIS, and upholding standards for the evaluation of transfer equivalencies.
Required Education and Experience:
+ Associate’s degree or higher in related field.
+ Five (5) years of related experience.
