Description We are looking for an experienced Data & Analytics Consultant to join our team on a long-term contract basis in Glen Allen, Virginia. In this senior-level role, you will collaborate closely with business leaders to provide strategic insights, develop advanced analytics solutions, and guide decision-making processes. This is an opportunity to leverage your expertise in data analytics across descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive approaches to drive impactful business outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Partner with senior business leaders to understand strategic goals and identify analytical methods to demonstrate the value of proposed solutions.

• Develop and deliver in-depth statistical analyses to provide actionable insights for leadership teams.

• Mentor and provide technical guidance to less experienced analysts, ensuring quality and accuracy in modeling and advanced analytics.

• Create and implement management-information solutions, including dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools like Power BI and Tableau.

• Design predictive models and prescriptive analytics to support scenario planning and inform critical business decisions.

• Collaborate with technical teams to transition recurring analytical solutions into production environments.

• Conduct complex descriptive and diagnostic analyses to address business challenges and present findings effectively.

• Lead training initiatives to enhance organizational data and analytical capabilities while mentoring team members.

• Ensure compliance with data governance policies when documenting, testing, and maintaining analytical models. Requirements • Proven experience in consulting with senior stakeholders and delivering strategic business intelligence solutions.

• Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau and Power BI.

• Strong technical expertise in SQL and statistical analysis methods.

• Demonstrated ability to design and execute predictive and prescriptive analytics models.

• Excellent leadership and mentoring skills to guide less experienced analysts.

• Solid understanding of business strategy and ability to align analytics with organizational goals.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other data management tools.
