    Description We are looking for an Accounts Receivable Clerk to join our team in Charleston, South Carolina. This position is a contract role expected to last 2-3 months, offering an opportunity to contribute to essential financial processes within the wood and furniture manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will bring attention to detail and accuracy to clerical and data entry tasks while ensuring proper reconciliation and resolution of invoice discrepancies.

    Responsibilities:

    • Perform data entry and clerical tasks related to accounts receivable processes.

    • Verify and reconcile invoices, particularly for freight charges, ensuring accuracy and resolving any discrepancies.

    • Collaborate with internal teams to handle billing functions and maintain proper documentation.

    • Utilize Great Plains accounting software and SalesPad to manage accounts receivable activities efficiently.

    • Investigate and address invoice discrepancies in a timely manner.

    • Support cash applications and commercial collections processes.

    • Maintain organized records of financial transactions and ensure compliance with company policies.

    • Communicate effectively with stakeholders regarding payment issues or account inquiries. Requirements • Proven experience in accounts receivable or related financial roles.

    • Familiarity with Great Plains accounting software and SalesPad.

    • Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and reconciliation tasks.

    • Ability to resolve invoice discrepancies promptly and professionally.

    • Knowledge of billing functions and commercial collections processes.

    • Proficiency in cash applications and cash collections.

    • Effective communication skills for interacting with internal teams and external stakeholders.
