Description
We are looking for an experienced Senior Director of Finance to lead and oversee financial operations within our client's organization in Waianae, Hawaii. This leadership role demands a strategic thinker who can manage budgeting, reporting, and cash flow processes while driving financial efficiency and ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Responsibilities for the Senior Director of Finance:
• Develop and oversee the annual budget process, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities.
• Manage month-end and year-end financial close, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of reports.
• Streamline and improve budget processes to enhance operational efficiency.
• Prepare and present detailed financial reports to executive leadership and stakeholders.
• Monitor and forecast cash flow to maintain financial stability and support strategic decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and standards in financial reporting.
• Lead and mentor four departments, including the accounting and finance teams, to achieve high performance and foster growth.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support organizational initiatives.
• Identify opportunities for cost optimization and implement strategies to maximize resources.
• Evaluate and implement financial systems and tools to improve reporting and data analysis capabilities.
Requirements
• A minimum of 10 years of experience in financial management, preferably in the healthcare or related industries.
• Proven expertise in managing annual budgets and financial forecasting.
• Strong knowledge of month-end close processes and financial reporting standards.
• Demonstrated ability to improve and manage budget processes effectively.
• Solid experience in monitoring and forecasting cash flow.
• Exceptional leadership skills with a track record of mentoring and developing teams.
• Proficiency in financial systems and tools, with an ability to analyze and present data effectively.
• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or a related field; advanced degree or certification (e.g., CPA, CMA, CFA) preferred.
