Description

We are looking for an experienced Tax Senior to join our client's team in Cordova, Tennessee. This role focuses on managing multi-state sales and use tax compliance within the manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in corporate tax, research expertise, and familiarity with tax regulations in the southeastern, Atlantic, and Gulf Coast regions.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough research to ensure compliance with multi-state sales and use tax regulations, focusing on southeastern, Atlantic, and Gulf Coast states.

• Prepare and review corporate tax filings, including sales tax returns and annual income tax provisions.

• Collaborate closely with internal teams to address tax-related issues and ensure accurate reporting.

• Monitor changes in tax laws and regulations, providing strategic guidance for compliance.

• Manage audits and inquiries related to corporate sales and use tax.

• Analyze tax data to identify potential risks and opportunities for optimization.

• Support the implementation of efficient processes to streamline tax compliance within manufacturing operations.

• Provide expertise in multi-state tax matters to support business expansion and operational strategies.

Requirements • Minimum of 5 years of experience in corporate tax, with a focus on sales and use tax.

• Strong knowledge of multi-state tax regulations, especially in the southeastern, Atlantic, and Gulf Coast regions.

• Proven expertise in tax compliance within the manufacturing industry.

• Experience preparing and reviewing corporate tax filings, including annual income tax provisions.

• Ability to conduct detailed tax research and provide actionable insights.

• Familiarity with audits and resolving tax-related inquiries.

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Strong communication and collaboration abilities to work with cross-functional teams.
