Position Description:
CGI is seeking a highly motived and experienced Part Time Proposal Solutions Architect to support multiple federal civilian customer accounts. The Proposal Solutions Architect will lead and contribute to the creation and development of compelling, innovative and compliant proposal and technical solutions for RFIs and RFPs, including quick-turn, short duration task order responses and white papers to shape the acquisition. The ideal candidate has to demonstrate successful proposal delivery experience to include capture strategy and management, understanding of business development and proposal development processes and a history of leading, developing and authoring winning proposals. The candidate may need to serve as a proposal manager for quick-turn opportunities and support marketing campaign as part of the capture plan.
This position is located in our Fairfax, VA office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.
Your future duties and responsibilities:
Analyze the RFI/RFP requirements, instructions and evaluation criteria.
• Research and identify customer challenges, perform competitive analysis, develop solutions and evaluate solution alternatives for compelling, innovative and compliant proposal responses.
• Responsible for identifying and developing proposal strategy and leading and collaborating with multiple technical and domain SMEs to develop and compose innovative technical solutions and approaches for proposal responses.
• Partner with customer stakeholders and internal business/support partners to provide early customer engagement support to identify and shape opportunities, contribute to capture strategy and determine technical solutions.
• Research current and emerging technologies, processes, industry domains, approaches, and methodologies to meet the customer’s needs.
• Performs hands-on authoring of proposal responses.
• Participate and support end-to-end business development and proposal development lifecycle and gate reviews. This includes early opportunity qualification through proposal submission.
• Develop unsolicited technical recommendations, white paper, responses to engage prospective customers and position CGI for winning opportunities.
• Develop and author blogs, marketing materials, social media posts as necessary to support marking campaign as part of the capture strategy to engage prospective customers and position CGI
• Contribute to teaming strategies including identifying, researching, and vetting potential partners.
• Serve as a proposal manager for quick-turn opportunities.
• Provide guidance and coaching to team members with less experience.

• Bachelor with 15+ years of experience architecting proposal solutions and leading and supporting complex capture pursuits and proposals.
• Experience capturing opportunities in white space accounts or areas
• Experience capturing prime proposals with a TCV of 50M• Experience conceptualizing and creating marketing contents in support of pursuit or positioning
• Ability to successfully lead solution development and technical, management, pricing proposal volumes for large scale, highly strategic, and complex bids.
• Ability to perform in a collaborative, fast-paced, growth-focused environment.
• Ability to think outside of the box to solve customer challenges.
• Must be able to multi-task across several concurrent efforts.
• Must have experience with the Federal Government procurement processes; including the newer and more “commercial” like process (i.e. phased approach, agile)
• US Citizen.
CGI is required by law in some jurisdictions to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. The determination of this range includes various factors not limited to skill set, level, experience, relevant training, and licensure and certifications. To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $99,200.00 - $241,600.00.
