    **Location:** Jersey City, NJ

    **Shift:** Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM (HYBRID)

    **Pay Rate:** $ 42.56/hour

     

    We’re looking for a **Risk Lead Business Control Specialist** to join our Global Markets Operations (GMO) team. This is a high-impact role where you'll act as a strategic partner to senior leaders and operational teams, helping them proactively identify and manage risks, strengthen controls, and drive operational excellence.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + **Risk Oversight & Issue Management** : You’ll monitor operational issues from start to finish, ensuring they’re resolved and sustainable.

    + **Compliance & Escalation** : You’ll ensure timely identification and escalation of risks, and help teams meet critical deadlines.

    + **Advisory Role** : You’ll guide GMO teams on risk and control matters using the bank’s enterprise risk framework.

    + **Audit & Review Support** : You’ll coordinate with Internal Audit and Compliance teams during reviews and audits.

    + **LOB Coverage** : You may support areas like Exchange Traded Derivatives, Collateral Management, and Shared Operations.

    + **Global Collaboration** : You’ll work with teams across the globe on ad hoc risk and control initiatives.

    Required Qualifications:

    + **Experience** : At least 5 years in Global Markets Operations, ideally with exposure to Risk, Compliance, or Audit.

    + **Risk Mindset** : You’re comfortable challenging the status quo and independently managing risk items.

    + **Communication** : You can clearly and confidently engage with stakeholders at all levels.

    + **Organization & Multitasking** : You juggle multiple priorities with ease and stay organized under pressure.

    + **Technical Skills** : Strong in PowerPoint and Excel, with the ability to create executive-level reports.

    + **Education** : Bachelor’s degree or higher.
